COMPLEXO DA ALMA

Complexo da Alma is a photography project that explores identity, intimacy, and memory.

Born from lived encounters and personal narratives, the work expands beyond the page into collective spaces and exhibitions.

The project was first presented in Brazil, where the alleys of a favela community became the gallery walls. Bringing the images back to their place of origin created a space of reflection and recognition among its residents.

A limited-edition book was later published, extending the project into print. More recently, Complexo da Alma was also featured in Brooklyn, NY, in collaboration with Art Dialogues magazine.
